Lille is the capital of the Hauts-de-France region in northern France, near the border with Belgium. I actually craved good quality macaroons so hopped on a Euro-star from London to get here! Things you can do:
- Rain or shine, tour the city centre which is very small and walkable. The architecture as you can see is just stunning.
